The Nuby Mosquito repellent bracelets couldn’t have come at a better time. The Mosquitos have come back with a vengeance now that summer is back. I hate being sucked dry by them so I can only image how horrible it must be for small babies to have to be bitten.

When you open the packaging you immediately get the strong scent of the essential oils that are packed into these little bands. The active ingredients include Citronella(5%), Lemon grass(2.5%) and spearmint oil(2.5%).

Alex is three months old and it fits perfectly over her wrist or on her ankles. It can also be adjusted to a much bigger size to fit bigger kids or adults. She has just discovered her fists and the fact that the bracelets are non-toxic is a huge plus for us. They work for an area up to one meter in diameter and are effective for 144 hours.

The package contains 2 adjustable bracelets and an extremely cute animal accessory. They also come in a variety of fun colours. You should be able to find them at dischem, babies r us and baby boom relatively soon. So far I have only seen them available in Cape town at Babies r us in Canal walk or online.
