Pampers Baby-dry with Air Channels Review
Pampers has introduced their new innovative world-first in nappy technology with unique air channels which create space for air to flow freely inside the nappy for breathable dryness overnight.
Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. The new Pampers Baby-dry air channel nappies were sent to us to review, however the views and opinions expressed in the review are my own.
We have been a pampers household for the past 5 months and we also used pampers when Jayme was younger so it didn’t take much convincing for us to try the new pampers air channels.
The most important requirement for me was that it actually lived up to its 12 hour promise. We gave it a test run, put it on Alex at 20:30 and left it on till 07:00 the next morning and it lived up to the promise. She had no leaks, her bum was dry and the nappy didn’t sag at all. She woke up for her usual night time feed but she did not wake up from a wet nappy. I am impressed.
When pampers designed their Baby-dry with Air Channels they considered how they can give your baby breathable dryness, comfort and a fun design that is always safe to use if your little one has sensitive skin. They have achieved this with “2 Air channels” to allow air to flow freely inside the nappy to keep your baby’s bum dry. Why is this so significant? A rash is usually caused when baby’s skin is hot and moist for an extended period, by adding airflow within the nappy, baby’s bum has a better chance of being dry for longer.
Some key features of the new Pampers Baby Dry is exciting new interior and exterior designs. Anti-leakage barriers that also provides a great fit. Absorbent Micro Pearls as an inner layer which are able to absorb up to 30x its own weight, this is what helps lock in wetness for up to 12 hours. A dry-layer which absorbs wetness away from babies skin and baby-lotion to help protect from rashes. The smaller sizes will have a wetness indicator which is always great. Then of cause the fantastic 2 air-channels that ensure baby’s bottom is dry and less damp.
The new Baby dry air channels can be identified by the bold on-pack “Air Channels” symbol.
The weight range has also changed slightly:
In the 5 months since using pampers again we have not had one rash or leak. It has been such a pleasant experience so far. At the moment, the Pampers Baby-Dry with the 2 Air channel nappies are only available in sizes 4-6 but sizes 1-3 will be made available soon. These nappies retail for around R230 per pack across all major SA retailers.

Hi Kwanele, are you sure you had the correct size? I noticed when my child outgrows the size that it can leak if left on too long. Maybe check the size
