The Two Oceans Aquarium

So much wonder to be found in the aquarium. The Two Oceans Aquarium is truly one in a million. There is so much to see and experience, take your kids and see first hand the wonder through them, it’s something incredible.

As we walked in through the turnstiles we got to take a family photo in front of a green screen which could be purchased later as a memento of the experience. The first glance at the underwater life included some of our favorite clown fish, jelly fish and other beautiful see creatures.

As you make your way through the aquarium there is are different types of creatures, some we never knew existed.

Some of the highlights for us was the giant tanks which was housed the big sharks, the seaweed forest, gorgeous massive sting rays and sea turtles. We loved seeing the penguins and they even put on a little show for us.

The aquarium offers a scuba diving and penguin experience at at additional cost.

Outside the entrance turnstile is a restaurant should you need to get something to eat as well as a gift shop to buy a few souvenirs to take home.

They offer various ticket pricing options with Adults paying R210 for full day access, teens 14-17 paying R160, 4-13 year olds paying R100 and kids under 4 free. They have a pensioners and students ticket priced at R160. Annual membership is available for those wanting to have unlimited visits all year ranging from R240 to R485. They are open 7 days a week from 9:30 till 6pm.

This is one of the experiences you cannot miss when coming to Cape Town.
